"If you abide in My (God's) word, you are My disciple indeed, and you shall Know the truth and the truth will set you free"  John 8:31,32  Encouraging and inspirational  words to think about this week and everyday day for that matter. 

Does absolute truth exist ?  If it does exist where do you go to find it ?  In your mind or perhaps in your heart ?  

Perhaps you just listen to what everyone else is saying about truth. Is it social media, the news, your friends, teachers, your parents,your work, society or from your own inner being.

I will say there are only two kinds of truth.  There is human truth and there is gospel or divine truth.  The definition of truth in the dictionary is what is true in accordance with fact or reality.  A fact or belief that is accepted as true.  The quality or state of being true.

So now let me ask you this:  What is Your truth - Human or Divine ?  What do you accept as your source of truth ?  Are you defining your truth according to what you think is true ?  or are You defining what is true from God's divine truth ?

How much time, if any, do you spend in reading the gospel truth ?  My friends, for over 53 years, never once-nada-zilch did I ever pick up and read the bible. That was then- but now- I just can't stop reading it, and just allowing His words of truth to fill my heart and soul beyond measure.    

There is only one standard and authority of truth and it most certainly does not come from whatever we(you, I) decide as humans to make it out to mean.  God is and will always be the essence, the absolute standard, and authority of Truth.

The single most important decision you can ever make in your life is when you completely, without any doubt, submit your life over to JESUS CHRIST !  Of course to do that you must spend time in His word.  For as spoken by Jesus  " I am the way, the truth, and the life;  No one comes to the Father except through Me."  John 14:6

Allow, accept,and embrace these words and let them fill your heart. Then and only then will you come to KNOW THE TRUTH !!
