TIME STANDS STILL FOR NO ONE !!  Whether you are rich, poor, male or female, time is the same for all of us living in this world.   From the moment we are born into this world our clocks begin ticking.  Can’t stop it, can’t get any of it back and can never change any of it.  Living and life in this world continues forward whether you want it to or not.

In relation to time think about this truth as found in Isaiah 40: 6-8  “ All flesh is grass, and all it’s loveliness is like the flower of the field.  The grass withers and the flowers fade, because the breath of the Lord blows upon it; Surely the people are grass, The grass withers, the flowers fade, But the word of our God stands forever.”   

Understand this; -  Not Your Word- Not My Word, but God’s Word - stands forever .

Our time in this world is like a breath - a shadow to God – its over before you(I, we) know it -His time is forever !   As said by the beloved King David in Psalm 23: 6  “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life;  and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” 

So how we spend and better use our limited time becomes of critical importance in this life.  After all, this is your life we are talking about. Of course many of us spend a majority of our time working, raising children, establishing relationships, attending a variety of events, travel,  leisure, hobbies etc. 

We all try to schedule our allotted time in such a way as to accomplish what needs done for the day.  We do the things that are of greatest value to us first.  We then try and fit in all the other tedious, routine tasks, demands and other duties required of us with the rest of our remaining time for the day.

While we can’t control the clock, we can control how we spend portions of our time and whom we spend it with.  We all need that quiet, uninterrupted time just for ourselves.  More importantly you need that quiet time spent reading God’s words of truth, love, and peace.  You will be absolutely amazed how encouraging, comforting and uplifting they are to your heart and soul !

Spend 15-20 minutes a day and allow God to speak to you through His word and I can assure you that over time He will change your life forever. And all for the better, I might add.   Start today – don’t delay and discover a Joy beyond measure.
