Many of us know that God's blessings are for all of mankind and rains down on our lives everyday whether we are a believer of Jesus Christ or not. For as Jesus Christ Himself says in Matthew 5:45  " For He makes His sun rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the just and the unjust."  This is clealy evident in all of creation to demonstrate God's goodness and His divine love for all that He has created.    

For those of us who believe and have accepted and embraced our Lord and Savior, we understand that it is our spiritual blessings that we hold so dear to our hearts and souls.  Let us pause and take a moment to reflect, meditate and ponder these Spiritual  blessings as written by the apostle Paul in Ephesians 1:3  "  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessings in the heavenly places in Christ."

Permit me to paraphase and list these blessings as taken from verses 4 - 14 in Ephesians 1.

vs 4 -  We were chosen to be holy and blameless before Him in love.

vs 5 -  We have been predestined to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ.

vs 6 -  By His grace He made us accepted in the Beloved.

vs 7 -  We have redemption through the blood, the forgiveness of sins, according  to the riches of His grace.

vs 8 -  He abounds towards us in all wisdom and prudence.

vs 9 -  He has made known to us His will according to His good pleasure.

vs10 - He has gathered us together in one, through Christ, all things that are in heaven and on earth 

vs11 -  In Him we have obtained an inheritance who works all things according to His purpose and will.

vs12 - We trust in Christ for the truth and to the praise of His glory 

vs13 - We have been sealed for salvation by the gospel of truth with the Holy Spirit of promise for eternal life.

vs14 - The Holy Spirit has been given to us as the guarantee of our inheritance In God's kingdom.

Let these blessings from God encourage us today and everyday, as we walk with our Lord and Savior.  Let us always be thankful for His great love, truth and grace as we grow stronger in our faith.
