Many of us have heard this quote and is from Benjamin Franklin.  When read most will associate this quote with our finances and financial planning but it applies to practically all areas of our lives.

We all set about with goals of what we want to accomplish in this life.  We want to be successful in our working lives – our finances-our personal lives-our relationships- our health-our mental and emotional states and our spiritual growth. 

In other words we aren’t setting out to do or have things in our lives with the thought of failing at it.  We set about with the intention of being successful at whatever we embark on.  Our hopes and expectations then are based on positive outcomes and plans.

Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior has given us this Hope of never failing in the Greatest Plan Ever Devised.  His divine plan of Salvation, for all of mankind throughout the very beginning of time began in Genesis 3:15  “And I will put enmity between you(Satan) and the woman(Eve), and between your(Satan’s) seed and her(Eve’s) seed;  He(Jesus) shall bruise your(Satan’s) head, and you (Satan) shall bruise His (Jesus’) heel ’ (emphasis mine) 

This verse is God speaking to the serpent, Satan, about the future seed, the Messiah, Jesus Christ, who would come into the world and save it from sin and destruction.  We see the words of truth as spoken by Jesus himself in John 3:17  “ For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”

Jesus Christ fulfilled His Great Plan of Salvation by spilling His blood, nailed to a cross in the flesh, so that we(you,I) might live with Him forever in eternity. Upon His death He then, by the divine power and crowning achievement of God’s glorious plan, ascended into heaven to be with God the Father in heaven.  Spoken by Jesus Christ in His resurrected body near His tomb in John 20:17  “ Go to My brethren and say to them, I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.” 

 John 3:16  “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”  The Greatest Plan Ever Devised !

Permit me to paraphrase and expand this great verse and allow it to sink deeply into every fiber of your being and let it speak to you on a more personal level. ‘ I, God your Father, love you so much that I have allowed my only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to die a death that is rightfully yours, because of the sin that is in you, so that you can live a holy, sinless life with Me in all of eternity.”  Are you willing to Accept Me, Receive Me, And Allow Me, into your heart, mind, and soul and sincerely believe in Me, from this day forward ?  I am with you always and will give you all that you need to faithfully obey and follow Me. Will you love Me, as I have loved you and put Me at the center of your life ?  Will you place Me above all other things in your life and completely submit to My ways ?  My greatest desire is to have you in a relationship with Me, but have given you the choice to make for yourself, I will not do it for you

My friends, the greatest decision you will ever make in your life is to Let Jesus Christ into your life and fill your heart with His Love, Peace and Joy beyond measure.
