Where do You Stand with Violence and Hatred
Matthew 12:25 “ Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand.” The very words of truth spoken by Jesus Christ over 2000 years ago to warn those people who were placing their trust in themselves and not following the moral laws as written in scripture. We see this today as for decades this country has abandoned God in pursuit of human wisdom and that we know better than God on how best to live our lives.
As a nation founded on Judea-Christian principles we continue to remove God from the public square, from our schools, and from our homes. IN GOD WE TRUST - GOD BLESS AMERICA – ONE NATION UNDER GOD is no longer tolerated within our nation. Many factions, organizations, media, and politicians for decades are determined to take down what has made this country the greatest on earth that stands as a light to the rest of the world. Defending the core of freedoms, dignity, liberty and our divine God given rights.
Jesus Christ makes it very clear to us as He said in Matthew 12:30 “ Whoever is not with Me is against Me, and whoever does not gather with Me scatters abroad.” Where are you my friends with this truth ? Are you in favor of this mob rule , violence, and the breakdown of law and order in this country. Or do you stand with God in Peace – Faith – Love and the moral standards [laws] that God has commanded us to live by and obey ? When did crimes in this country become accepted in our society ?
Read the truth and the wisdom that Solomon said over 3000 years ago in Ecclesiastes 1:9 “ That which has been is what will be, that which is done is what will be done, and there is nothing new under the sun.” As the history of the Bible shows, generation after generation continues to reject and turn away from God as is true even in this day and age. Instead of moving toward God we are moving away from Him.
Do you truly understand what this means in terms of what we are seeing today ? History is what teaches us what not to do going forward in the future for a better way of living. The sins and history of what happened long ago with the civil war and slavery is a reminder of the atrocities, and despicable treatment of black men and women but we are learning and continue to press forward to a better way of living. There are many who want to continue what happened in the past to keep this hatred alive.
Keep in mind that during Jesus’ ministry people hated Jesus without a cause because of their hardened, impenitent hearts and their self- imposed righteousness. Trusting in the wisdom of men and not trusting in the word of God. So the question is; Who are you trusting in ? Human wisdom or God’s wisdom ? Do you believe in the truth of God or in the truth of man ? Sadly, many trust in the wisdom and truth of man as they have since the beginning of time. Again there is “nothing new under the sun.”
To help you see and understand the evil and lawlessness of what is happening in this country is found in the following verses.
John 10:10 “ The thief does not come except to STEAL, and to KILL, and DESTROY. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
Isaiah 5:20 “ Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil. “
Proverbs 29:8 “Scoffers set a city aflame, but wise men turn away wrath.”
Matthew 23:23 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites ! You tithe mint and dill and cumin and have neglected the weightier matters of the law: JUSTICE – MERCY – FAITHFULNESS “ (emphasis mine)
The choices are so amazingly simple - You either stand for the U.S. Constitution or You don’t. You are for evil or you are against evil. You stand for justice or you are not. You are for capitalism or you are not. You are for Law and Order or you are not. You are for protecting all citizens of this country from crime or you are not. You are either supportive of the people who fight crime or you are not.
You are for finding solutions to inherent problems in this country or you are not. You point out all the problems and injustices done in this country, labeling them racism, discrimination, but aren’t willing to do anything about them. You believe that you must work hard to accomplish your dreams or goals or you expect someone else to do it for you at no cost to you.
You are either FOR GOD or you are AGAINST GOD. You are either for Faith – Hope – Love [God] found in 1 Corinthians 13:13) or you are for Kill – Steal – Destroy [Satan] or another way of saying it - Fear – Despair – Hate [Satan] There is no middle ground.
Martin Luther King Jr. an icon of the 20th century for civil rights said it best in these two quotes:
“I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear.”
“Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.” - Martin Luther King Jr.
So I ask my friends reading this post - Are you standing tall for Love or Hate ? What part are you playing within your heart to walk as Martin Luther King walked ? He chose Love and Peace - what do you choose ?
My friends, Jesus Christ is the answer to all the problems, struggles and hatred in this world, and yet this country continues to reject, dishonor and abandon the truth of the gospel. We pursue our own selfish sinful desires and move further away from His ways, His will and His love.
His greatest commandment and solution is found in Matthew 22:37-39 “ You shall love the Lord your God with all of your heart, with all of your soul, and with all your mind.” This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: v 39 “ You shall love your neighbor as yourself “
Allow God into your life and enlighten your eyes to the riches of His Love, Truth and Peace.
As Jesus Christ Himself said “ Know the truth and the truth will set you free.” John 8:32
Jesus Christ also said in John 14:6 “ I am the way, the truth and the life.” “ No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
Start today – Don’t delay and change your life - Let the power of God’s words speak to you and be filled with a peace and joy beyond measure.
